Middle of Nowhere tells the story of a woman who leaves medical school to sustain her relationship with her husband after he is sentenced to 8 years in prison. While her spouse is incarcerated, she begins to take an interest in another man and learns a lot about herself in the process. The film is a critique of the prison industrial complex and the predatory practices some phone companies engage in, charging up to $30 a minute for incarcerated men and women to talk to loved ones.

We hope you’ll join us for this thoughtful and interactive talk Wednesday, September 26th from 2:00pm – 4:00pm.
